It was a cold, foggy morning for birding. Most of the birds I saw were Kinglets and Chickadees. Toward the end of the outing, when the sunlight was beginning to strengthen, I had a close encounter with a Hermit Thrush next to the trail. I stood still and quiet for a few minutes to avoid spooking it. There was also a Wild Turkey
