We've had some good birds around. It seems like we get a small group of Western Tanagers in the backyard every year or so, and this time around I was able to get a few decent photos despite them mostly being high overhead and silhouetted against the sky. I was also able to photograph Wilson's Phalaropes and a Solitary Sandpiper on the same day, and at the same spot! I've gone looking for those birds separately, and wasn't able to find them until later in the season last year. I also went up to a trail at elevation and came across a few singing MacGillivray's Warblers, another bird I hadn't photographed until last year.

The above hashes-<date>.txt file contains SHA-256 hashes of all the photos
from this shoot. The hashes-<date>.txt.sig is a signature of that hashes
file, created with my PGP key. The signature file
itself was written to both the Bitcoin Cash and Algorand blockchains, in the

In short, this proves that these photos and the signature both existed at the time the

Wilson's Phalarope, GadwallI like this shot because it shows the female in breeding plumage and is a nice size comparison with the Gadwall.
